Established in 2007, La Soufflerie is a non-profit, family owned and operated association ran by Sebastien and Valentina Nobile that aims to preserve the art of ancestral glassblowing.

Albarelle Petit
This La Soufflerie design on Albarelle Petit is based on the shape of the old french pot d’apothicaire or apothecary jars. Historically, the model was mostly used to store jam, conserved fruits, and medicines. It is a shape often seen in on the top shelves of pharmacies in Paris or in old delicatessen shops around the 5th arrondissement of Paris holding pickled vegetables or sweet fruits. You can use it with a top as a container or without the top as a vase.
These are entirely made by hand and each creation is unique. Therefore, there may be a slight variation in color, texture, and size between each piece. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand. This is the beauty of handmade.

Barattolo
Barattolo is Italian for an all-purpose jar. La Soufflerie’s version of the Barattolo has a folded lip opening that fit with the La Sofflerie’s cork top and is perfect to hold sugar, flour, pasta, or grains. You may also like to use it as a candy jar.

Pot a Cornichon
Pot a Cornichon by La Soufflerie is modeled and named after the old French Pickle jars from a time when there was no plastic. They are the go-to for amazing multi-purpose jars.
