Dr. Kavvadia is an organic extra-virgin olive oil of medium intensity. It has a well balanced fruitiness, bitterness and pungency while producing notes of artichoke, radishes, almonds, freshly cut grass, thyme and red pepper.
Dr. Kavvadia was among the first to produce and bottle two rare and local varieties, Lianelia of Corfu and Thiako, and was the first producer ever to win Gold quality awards in New York and Tokyo, showing the potential of their amazing local varieties and making them known to a wider public.
