Comptoir 102 is excited to unveil its upcoming exhibition, featuring the bold and diverse works of four international artists from Lebanon, Belgium, France, and the United States. Lerry Ceramics offers whimsical, playful creations that push the boundaries of ceramic art.
Marie-Anne Briskmann blends intricate detail with playful designs, creating pieces that inspire interaction.
Steve Stringer like many artists, found his creative path through experimentation. Known for his expressive pottery, Steve brings his love for drawing and doodling into his ceramics.
Collective Y by Rhea Younes merges functional design with vibrant, chic aesthetics, creating pieces that bring a fresh energy to modern interiors.

The exhibition is open to the public, with its opening day on November 5th from 11am am to 8pm, where you will have the opportunity to see the works first.

Lebanese label Collective Y by Rhea Younes transports viewers into a world of inspiration, where energy flows freely and creativity knows no bounds. Specializing in bespoke luxury furniture and home accessories, the brand evokes timeless elegance, blending couture-inspired design with warmth and sophistication. The brand celebrates the resilience of artisans and envisions a future filled with collective brightness and hope.

LERRY Ceramics by Elke Vanlerberghe from Belgium, is known for her handmade, uniquely designed pieces. Blending playful experimentation with clay, decorations, and glazes, and inspired by ancient history and the art of adornment, LERRY Ceramics transforms everyday objects into extraordinary pieces, incorporating whimsical elements like smileys, bows, and shells, alongside references to Greek and Roman culture.

Born in Nevers, France, Marie-Anne Briskmann’s artistic approach is shaped by her deep fascination with the timeless presence of plants and animals in our collective imagination. Her work delves into the symbolic power of words and knowledge, dissecting their meaning while exploring how they shape personal mythology and understanding. In her hand-modeled ceramic pieces Briskmann intertwines the whimsy of childhood with the harsh realities of adulthood. She embraces the material’s imperfections, treating them as scars of a past life that evoke a sense of shared, universal memory for her audience.

Steve Stringer is an LA-based ceramicist with a passion for drawing that began with doodles on everything from margins to dirty windshields. After experimenting with tattooing, he found a better canvas in ceramics, combining his love for illustration with the tactile art of ceramics. Each of Steve's creations reflects his playful approach to art, embracing the imperfections and individuality of handmade ceramics.

The exhibition is open to the public, with its opening day on November 5th from 11am to 8pm, where guests will have the opportunity to see the works first hand.
