NADA RIZK & PASCALE RISBOURG

 Two Voices in Clay
04 - 09 NOVEMBER 2025

Step into a dialogue rooted in material and quiet intention

'Two voices in Clay' presents a captivating conversation between the distinct yet complementary ceramic works of Nada Rizk and Pascale Risbourg. Rizk's "Flora" series celebrates the life-affirming cycles of nature, with hand-built clay and glaze blooming into sculptures that capture growth, fragility, and the transformative power of the natural world. Meanwhile, Risbourg's "Pompeii" series evokes ancient forms and natural forces, transforming clay into precariously balanced columns and vessels that echo the beauty found in imperfection and material distortion. Together, their pieces create an immersive landscape of shadow and light, inviting viewers to contemplate the enduring connection between art, nature, and the passage of time

Nada Rizk

Rizk is a versatile Lebanese-Finnish artist and designer based in Beirut, celebrated for her masterful use of natural materials such as clay, marble, and bronze. Her work seamlessly combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, often rooted in storytelling and her cultural heritage. Her Flora collection, in particular, exemplifies this approach, featuring hand-built and altered sculptures inspired by delicate natural forms and botanical motifs.

Pascale Risbourg

Risbourg is a Belgium artist who always pushes herself to explore new ideas and techniques. Inspired by the ancient Pompeii candlesticks, she creates pieces that blend history with her own unique style. Her approach is hands-on and personal — she starts each piece by drawing, shaping, and assembling, pouring her energy and creativity into every detail.
