Ziba Foods Sweet Apricot Kernels are an heirloom Afghan variety sourced from the high‑altitude orchards of Bamyan’s Sayghan and Kahmard districts. The apricots dry naturally on the tree before being split to release kernels with a clean crunch and a delicate, marzipan‑like sweetness. They’re dry‑roasted without oil and lightly salted to bring out their warm, nutty flavor. With more protein than almonds and naturally low amygdalin levels, they make a simple, nutrient‑dense snack or an easy addition to salads and baked goods.
