Ziba Foods Baby Pistachio Kernels are wild‑foraged from the steep hillsides of Badghis in north‑west Afghanistan, where pistachio trees grow naturally without cultivation. The nuts are tiny, intensely flavorful, and hand‑picked once annual quotas open in early September. They’re dry‑roasted without oil and lightly salted to highlight their natural pine and camphor notes. The result is a crunchy, savory kernel with a tender center, ideal for snacking or adding texture to salads and desserts.
