Description

Barattolo is Italian for an all-purpose jar. La Soufflerie's version of the Barattolo has a folded lip opening that fit with the La Sofflerie's cork top and is perfect to hold sugar, flour, pasta, or grains. You may also like to use it as a candy jar.

These are entirely made by hand and each creation is unique. Therefore, there may be a slight variation in color, texture, and size between each piece. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower's cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand. This is the beauty of handmade.

Details & Care

Cleaning Care: & Handwashing as much as possible to avoid scratches from the dishwasher and to keep the glass sparkling. But, know that the glassware is dishwasher resistant and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. All plaster and terracotta pieces are not suitable for use with water. You can dust each piece with a dry cloth.
