Astier de Villatte Commune de Paris Cologne 1871 is a bright, rebellious eau de cologne that opens with an electric burst of Sicilian lemon, rosemary, and bergamot before settling into the soft, powdery elegance of its era. Beneath the sharp citrus lies a warm blend of labdanum, benzoin, cedarwood, patchouli, and vetiver, enriched with two of the earliest perfume molecules—coumarin and benzaldehyde—for notes of fresh‑cut grass and almond. Created with Françoise Caron and the Takasago team, Astier de Villatte Commune de Paris Cologne 1871 delivers a modern take on a classic cologne, both cheeky and refined, with a lingering, subtly subversive charm.
