Woven with the grass Veta Vera, which is naturally durable. This large pendant lamp is very ostentatious in a living room, above a dining table or in a bedroom.
This pendant light is perfect alone or in a set, accumulated with other lamps in the collection.

Basket weaving from Bolgatanga is a a traditional African weaving technic. The grass Veta Vera grows locally in Ghana. The reeds are twisted by hand and small batches are colored using vegetable or food dyes in cauldrons. Variations in the tone can be found so each piece feels unique.

The weaving is tight and smooth. These lamps are woven by an association of weavers, these weavers have honed their art to make our contemporary shapes. This lamp takes 6-7 days to weave. Golden Editions believes that artisanal is the new luxury.
