The Neotenic Small Table Lamp in Vanilla, designed by the New York-based Studio Jumbo (Justin Donnelly and Monling Lee) for Petite Friture, is a sculptural lighting piece that blends playful "chunky" aesthetics with high-end craftsmanship. Standing approximately 20.1 inches (51 cm) tall, the lamp features a complex, hand-finished ceramic base inspired by the corkscrew shape of cavatappi pasta, manufactured in Portugal through a technical process that challenges traditional gravity-based drying. Its vibrant, high-gloss "Vanilla" finish is complemented by a mouth-blown opaline glass globe that emits a soft, uniform, and dimmable glow.
