Astier De Villatte Yakushima Incense evokes the earthy, humid atmosphere of the island’s ancient rain forest, where thousand‑year‑old cedar trees, rare mosses and wild azaleas create a deep, vegetal scent. Each stick is crafted on Awaji Island by Koh‑shi masters using a thousand‑year‑old method that blends natural woods, herbs, plants, resins and perfume, kneaded, rested for two weeks, cut into thin ribbons and dried in the west wind.

To use, light the tip, extinguish the flame and let it smoke in an incense holder or bowl of sand. Do not leave it burning unattended, keep away from children and animals, and avoid use near flammable materials. Made in Japan.
